Two Days with Rabbi Arie Hasit

 

Arie Hasit is the founding rabbi of the Masorti community in Mazkeret Batya, a community designed to promote meaningful Jewish engagement for Jews of all beliefs and practices, and a member of the law committee of the Israeli branch of the Rabbinical Assembly. Prior to his current position, Hasit served in a number of rabbinical positions around Israel, including acting rabbi for the NOAM Masorti Youth Movement.   To read more about Rabbi Hasit Click Here .

Morning Minyan, 7am, Okun Chapel, 3330 Grove Ave.
   Rabbi Hasit will deliver a brief D'var Torah: "Holiness: A Call for Separation or Inclusion?"

Midrash Class , 1:00 - 2:00 pm,  Kiddush Room, 3330 Grove Ave.
    Rabbi Hasit will lead this session.

Evening Minyan, 5:45pm, Okun Chapel, 3330 Grove Ave.
   Rabbi Hasit will deliver a brief  D'var Torah: "There is no Torah without Flour- The Meaning of Counting the Omer".

Dessert Reception, 7:30-8:30pm, the home of Rabbi Michael & Adira Knopf
